I am the founder of Wealth-Legacy.org and Wealth-Legacy.com. I help you plan your wealth and your legacy. I help you define your dash, before you pass. Changes and consolidation in recent months have given me the opportunity to renew my vision. My emphasis has always been on making complex financial concepts simple, where financial solutions are selected for each unique person and situation. For me, the beginning of planning is uncovering the crucial step of figuring out what's important to you. Most often, there are competing priorities, such as saving for your retirement while taking care of college savings planning. Setting priorities are needed before embarking on the investment or insurance decision making process. Too often, clients have told me that they have felt pushed into solutions and/or investments before they really understood what or why. My planning view looks through the client’s point of view and advocates for them as a fiduciary. With over 25 years of professional industry experience, I look forward to guiding you down the path to help you both grow your wealth and plan your legacy. Let’s together define your dash before you pass.
My career in financial services began in 1996 at Cigna Financial Advisors, which was acquired by Lincoln Financial Group in 1998. I became licensed in 2001 as a financial consultant at M&T Securities. In 2005, I rejoined Lincoln as a Financial Planner and developed strong relationships with clients and industry colleagues. Because of my strengths and innate ability for teaching, in 2009, I became the Agency Sales and Training Director for MetLife’s Westchester agency, who was looking to transition to a planning culture. In 2013, I returned to Lincoln Financial Advisors to pick up where I left off. The recent acquisition of Lincoln by Osaic, focused me on a new path. This transition gave me the opportunity to follow my personal vision to create Wealth-Legacy Planning, LLC and affiliate with Cambridge Investment Research.
When I’m not working with my clients, I enjoy teaching dance at Madeline’s Dance Studio in
Marlboro, NY. I’m also very pleased to have reconnected with my fiancé Mark Hawksley, whose friendship began in the ballet studio when I was just 15. My friendship rekindled after raising my two children from a prior marriage. My son Roy, III, and daughter Nancy are my pride and joy. I’m also the proud founder of a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, Wealth-Legacy.org, focusing on arts education in Poughkeepsie, NY.
